Open the web interpreter
Before class, open https://pbenglish.cn/classin-interpreter/ in your browser.
PBEnglish ClassIn Interpreter
The interpreter now runs online. Teachers do not need to download or install PBEnglish software.
Use this page before class and keep it open while teaching in ClassIn.
Address: https://pbenglish.cn/classin-interpreter/
Follow these steps every teaching day. The interface is simple and is designed for use during a live ClassIn lesson.
Before class, open https://pbenglish.cn/classin-interpreter/ in your browser.
Sign in with your Haoyueke teacher mobile number and password. PBEnglish only uses this to verify that you are a teacher.
The page uses your system default microphone automatically. If the wrong microphone is used, choose another one from the microphone menu at the bottom.
When the lesson begins, click Start Class. If the browser asks for microphone permission, allow it.
Click Mute if you need to pause microphone capture for a moment. Click Unmute when you want translation to continue.
When the student does not understand, find your English sentence in the transcript and click Speak in Chinese. The page will play the Chinese explanation.
Click Clear Transcript if the page has too much text. This clears the screen but does not end the class.
When the lesson is finished, click End Class. For the next lesson, click Start Next Class.
Teach normally in English. The tool only helps when the student needs a quick Chinese explanation.
Do not close the interpreter during class. If it is closed, transcript and Chinese playback will stop.
Teachers only need a browser and microphone permission. PBEnglish does not require the old local software package.
Check your Haoyueke teacher mobile number and password. If it still fails, contact PBEnglish support before class.
Use the microphone menu at the bottom of the interpreter page and choose the device with sound activity in the level bar.
Check the internet connection, then click Speak in Chinese again. If it still fails, use Google Translate as a temporary backup.
Continue teaching. The page will keep trying to receive and process speech. If needed, click End Class and start again.
